Relations between the Client and the Attorneys Association “JUSTLICTORS” are protected by attorney-client privilege and legal guarantees of advocacy in accordance with Articles 22 and 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Bar and Legal Practice”.

Attorney’s secret is any information that has become known to the attorney, assistant attorney, trainee lawyer, a person in an employment relationship with the attorney, about the client, as well as issues on which the client (a person refused to enter into a contract assistance on the grounds provided by this Law) took a legal advice from an attorney, law firm, bar association, the content of advice, consultations, explanations of the attorney, compiled documents, information stored on electronic media, and other documents and information obtained by the attorney in the course of his legal activity..

The professional rights, honor and dignity of an attorney are guaranteed and protected by the Constitution of Ukraine, this Law and other laws, in particular:

1) any interference and obstacles to the practice of advocacy are prohibited;

2) it is prohibited to demand from a attorney, his assistant, trainee, persons in an employment relationship with an attorney, law firm, bar association, as well as from a person in respect of whom terminated or suspended the right to practice law, to provide information that is attorney-client privilege. The specified persons may not be questioned on these matters, unless the person who entrusted the relevant information has released these persons from the obligation to maintain secrecy in the manner prescribed by law.
